Privacy
This page explains what we do with your data when you visit prophet.lat or write to us. It's written in plain English on purpose: a policy nobody can understand protects nobody.
Last updated: 7 October 2026.
Who is responsible for your data
Prophet, the company behind prophet.lat. For anything to do with your data, including deleting it, write to hello@prophet.lat and one of us answers, not an automated form.
What we collect, and nothing else
If you fill in the contact form, you send us your name, your company, your email, your phone if you choose to leave it, and whatever you write in the message. Nothing else: there are no hidden fields collecting anything more.
When you visit the site, our hosting provider logs requests to the server, the way every server in the world does. That includes the IP address, the time and the page requested.
We use Google Analytics to know how many people visit and which pages they read. It helps us understand which content is useful, not to identify you. If you visit from Europe, Google Analytics runs without cookies: nothing is stored in your browser and it only receives aggregated visit data. From the rest of the world it uses first-party measurement cookies.
We use no advertising pixels or remarketing. There is nothing following you around other websites to show you ads.
What we use it for
To reply to you and, if the conversation goes anywhere, to put together the proposal. We don't use your email to send you marketing you didn't ask for, and filling in the form doesn't sign you up to any newsletter.
The legal basis is your own interest in hearing back from us: you write so that we'll talk, and we use your data for exactly that.
Who it's shared with
With nobody beyond what's needed for the site to work:
- Vercel, which hosts the site and runs the form.
- Google Workspace, where we receive and keep the emails.
- Google Analytics, which receives visit data (the page, the browser, the approximate country and where you came from) to give us statistics.
- Google Fonts, where your browser downloads the page's typefaces from. That download means Google sees your IP address.
We don't sell data to anyone, and we don't hand it over for advertising. Ever.
How long we keep it
What you write to us stays in our email for as long as the conversation makes commercial sense. If we don't end up working together, we delete it after two years. If you ask us to delete it sooner, we delete it and confirm it's done.
What you can demand of us
You can ask to see the data we hold on you, correct it, take it with you, or have it deleted. You can also object to us processing it. Write to hello@prophet.lat and we'll sort it out within the one-month deadline the law sets.
If you think we've handled it badly, you can complain to the data protection authority that covers you; in Spain that's the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (aepd.es).
Minors
The website and our services are aimed at businesses. We don't knowingly collect data from minors.
Changes
If we change anything in this policy, we change the date above too. We don't make changes that apply retroactively to data you'd already given us.
